For investment management professionals, time is of the essence.  The need for information is crucial to decision making and performance measurement.  However, too many times performance and analytical information is stale by the time it is reviewed.  Prices, exchange rates, and calculations can change quickly and relying on in-house information as of yesterday's trade date can sometimes lead to bad decision making.

Varden has been able to take real-time security information available via the Bloomberg L.P. Data License and successfully integrate this information with existing trading systems as well as create a number of online distributed web-based applications and reports for clients in the financial services industry.  We have utilized Bloomberg Data to build reports, update exchange rates, improve analytics, and to enhance in-house security master databases with real-time data characteristic information.
